FIR filed against 12 people for stealing judge's dog, UP police becomes active

Uttar Pradesh News: A civil court judge's dog was stolen in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The judge's family alleges that their neighbour Dumpy Ahmed has stolen their pet dog. After the judge's family's complaint, the police have registered a case against more than 12 people under the Animal Cruelty Act.

Judge's family threatened with death

However, the judge is currently posted in Hardoi, while his family lives in Bareilly's Suncity Colony. According to the FIR, a few days ago there was a clash between the judge's family and Ahmed's family. Dumpy Ahmed's son Qadir Khan allegedly tried to intimidate the judge's family members and also threatened to kill them.

Dumpy Ahmed's wife went to the judge's house

On the night of May 16, around 9.45 pm, Dumpy Ahmed's wife came to the judge's house. She was upset with the judge's family because their dog had allegedly attacked her along with her daughter. There was a long conversation between the two regarding this matter.

The judge's family refused to give any statement

When the judge came to know about the incident, he informed the Bareilly police about the entire incident over the phone from Lucknow and also lodged a complaint. After this, area officer Anita Chauhan advised to take legal action. After which the police started searching for the judge's dog. Meanwhile, when the media tried to talk to the judge's family about this, they refused to give any statement.
