Finance Minister will inaugurate the conference of GST enforcement heads in New Delhi on March 4

New Delhi, March 03 (HS). Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will inaugurate a one-day GST Enforcement Heads' Conference in New Delhi on March 4. Measures to prevent tax evasion will be discussed in this conference.

The Finance Ministry said in a statement issued on Sunday that Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary will also participate in this conference. The conference will discuss measures to prevent tax evasion with all state and central Goods and Services Tax (GST) enforcer heads. Apart from this, topics like tackling fake invoicing process, sharing best practices and promoting synergy, leveraging technology and data and balancing ease of doing business will be discussed.
