The search for 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' fame actor Gurcharan Singh is finally over as he has returned home. The actor was missing on April 22 and his father filed a police complaint on April 26. The police said that he returned home on Friday (May 17).
Gurucharan Singh was going to Mumbai on 22nd April, so he left home to go to Delhi Airport. Gurucharan's friend Bhakti Soni had gone to pick him up at Mumbai airport but found out that he had not arrived. After this everyone first searched for the actor but could not find any information. Later Gurucharan's father went to the police for help and filed a missing report. After this, the police was searching for him in many states for the last 25 days, but Gurucharan himself returned home on Friday.
According to the police, Gurcharan Singh told the officers during interrogation that he had gone on a religious pilgrimage. He stayed in several Gurudwaras in cities like Amritsar and Ludhiana during the last 25 days, but later realized that he had to go home and returned home.
Delhi Police had gone to the sets of the serial 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' in Mumbai to find the missing Gurucharan. Delhi Police teams had taken statements of more than 50 people in Delhi and Mumbai. Apart from this, searches were also done in the states of Haryana, Punjab and Uttarakhand to trace the actor, but the actor was in Punjab and has returned home on his own.
