Baghpat, 4 December (Hindustan Reporter) Fifty Hazari criminals of Saharanpur district were arrested by Baghpat police after an encounter. Two other associates of the criminal have also been caught. The police had surrounded the miscreants in Badaut police station area in which the miscreants fired several rounds at the police. Two miscreants are injured by bullets and are admitted to the hospital.
Giving information, Badaut CO Vijay Singh said that on December 3 at around 11 pm, checking was being done by the Badaut police at the Binauli road barrier. At the same time, when an attempt was made to stop a pickup vehicle loaded with buffalo, the vehicle broke the barrier and ran away. Information about which was given at the police station and the vehicle was cordoned off. It was surrounded on Bijraul Lohadda road. Seeing themselves surrounded, the miscreants sitting in the car fired several rounds at the police.
The police also retaliated and arrested three miscreants including the driver. Two miscreants were injured by bullets and have been admitted to the hospital. The arrested miscreants have been identified as Jabir, Intezaar and Gulzar who are residents of Shahpur police station Gangoh Saharanpur. More than a dozen cases are registered against Jabir and he also has a reward of Rs 50 thousand. Even on waiting, more than a dozen cases have been registered. A pickup vehicle, two pistol cartridges, stolen buffalo and other stolen items were also recovered from them. Baraut police have registered a case against the three and started legal action.
