Geneva, December 3 (HS). World football governing body FIFA has released bid evaluation reports for the 2030 and 2034 FIFA World Cups and the hosts of these tournaments will be decided at the FIFA Congress meeting on December 11.
FIFA said these reports would be presented in a video conference of the FIFA Congress, as FIFA visited the bidding countries to evaluate the infrastructure, services and commercial aspects of the event, including its vision, sustainability and human rights.
As candidates, Morocco, Portugal and Spain have sent a joint bid for the 2030 World Cup in November 2023, while Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay have also submitted bids to host the centenary celebrations with a 2030 World Cup match in each country. As confirmed, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation has submitted a solo bid for the 2034 World Cup.
