The flames of protest against civil rights, rampant inflation and government repression in Pakistan’s illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) have now taken the form of a mass movement. ‘Aar Paar Ki Jang’: JAAC chief warns, number of martyrs crosses 80
Senior leader of PoJK Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) Sardar Omar Nazir Kashmiri has given a direct warning to the Pakistani government. He told that in this movement which started from June 5, till now more than 80 innocent Kashmiris have been martyred after falling victim to the bullets of Pakistani Army. He made it clear that no matter how many tanks and artillery the Pakistani Army deploys, the people of PoJK will now die only after getting freedom from illegal occupation and their basic rights. New army units have been dispatched to crush the increasing crowd in Rawalakot.

The echo of this violence has now reached the Parliament of Pakistan. Leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, expressed strong objection to this action of the army and said that it feels as if humans are being hunted like birds. At the same time, its reaction is being seen at the international level also. The United Nations Human Rights Observatory has submitted a memorandum to the United Nations (UN) in Geneva demanding an independent international investigation into the Rawalkot and Mirpur massacres.
