Jammu Kashmir encounter news; Five army personnel, including an officer, who were seriously injured in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district on Monday evening, lost their lives in hospital this morning. The encounter took place when the soldiers of Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police were about 55 km from Doda town late Monday evening. A joint search operation was launched in Dhari Gote Urarbagi in the remote Desa forest area.

After firing for a few minutes, the terrorists tried to escape. Then the brave soldiers led by an officer started chasing them through dense forests in a challenging area. After which a fierce clash took place once again in the forest at 9 pm. Five army soldiers were seriously injured in the encounter and were taken to the hospital for treatment. Where all were declared martyred.
Who took responsibility for the attack?
Security forces are on high alert after several terrorist attacks in Jammu region over the past few weeks. The 16th Army Corps, also known as the White Knight Corps, said that additional troops have been sent to the encounter area in Doda. Search operations are underway in the entire area. The terrorist organization Kashmir Tigers has claimed responsibility for the Doda attack. This organization is a branch of Jaish-e-Mohammed, which recently claimed responsibility for the attack on the army convoy in Kathua.
