Sukma, 6 November (Hindustan Reporter). A woman Naxalite carrying one lakh rupees, active in the Naxal organization in Sukma district, surrendered before the police and CRPF officials on Wednesday. The surrendered woman Naxalite was involved in Naxalite activities in Golapalli police station, Maraiguda, Kistaram and Chintagufa areas.
Influenced by the Chhattisgarh Government's “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy” and the “Niyad Nella Naar” scheme run by the Sukma Police and the increasing influence of the police and Naxalite violence due to continuous establishment of camps in highly sensitive interior areas. Fed up, a female Naxalite active in the Naxalite organization decided to join the mainstream of the society. A dedicated woman with a reward of one lakh in the Naxalite organization, Singhanamadgu RPC Jantana Sarkar President Padam Some, father Late Nanda, 29 year old resident of Chhotekedwal police station, Chintalnar district, Sukma, left the Naxalite organization on Wednesday today at the Superintendent of Police Office, District Sukma, Inspector Avilash Tandon, in-charge. DRG District Sukma and Sub Inspector Niranjan Varad surrendered without weapons before DIG Range Sukma. RFT Sukma Information Branch had a special role in encouraging the said female Naxalite to surrender. The said surrendered female Naxalite will be provided financial assistance and other facilities under the “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy”.
