According to the CBI investigation, the female doctor was not raped and only one accused Sanjay Roy is involved in this case. Meanwhile, on August 13, the responsibility of this case was handed over to the CBI.

CBI also examined the CCTV footage

According to sources, the forensic report also revealed that Sanjay Roy had raped the doctor. He was associated with the Kolkata Police. The DNA report has also confirmed his involvement. The half-naked body of the doctor was found in the seminar hall of the hospital on August 9. After this, Sanjay was arrested on August 10. The CBI has also examined the CCTV footage, in which the accused was seen coming out of the building where the doctor was murdered. The accused had access to all the departments of the hospital. He was arrested after his Bluetooth headset was found at the scene.

It was earlier alleged that the victim was gang-raped

Let us tell you that the CBI has not yet completed its investigation regarding the involvement of other people in this case. It is likely that the CBI will send the report to experts to take a final decision on the forensic report. Earlier, a doctor had claimed that the victim must have been gang-raped. Dr. Suvarna Goswami said that the condition of the train doctor's injury cannot be the work of a single person. The victim's parents also alleged in the Calcutta High Court that there was a large amount of semen on their daughter's body, which is a sign of gang rape.
