An incident of fraud in the name of dance show has come to light in Dubai. In Maharashtra, an incident of fraud has taken place with a female dancer from Mumbra, adjacent to Mumbai. The woman was held hostage in a dark room for 6 days in Dubai, but now the police have rescued her.
Women make their living by dancing
According to the information, even the female agent who sent the victim did not know that she was being cheated. The police is investigating the entire matter from the angle of racket etc. The woman is a resident of Thane, a city adjacent to Mumbai. A dance artiste by profession, he earns his livelihood by performing stage shows or dance performances. Before November 25, another female dancer had messaged the victim on a WhatsApp group saying that she was going to do a stage show in Dubai.
The woman who sent the message also promised to give good money in exchange for the dance. In such a situation, the female dancer agreed to do a dance show in the hope of getting good money and for which she also met the concerned female agent. According to the victim, during this meeting, the female agent told the victim through mobile the pictures of the stage show in Dubai and some other information related to the dance show. Not only this, the woman who messaged also said that she would come with him to Dubai.
The female agent escaped by making an excuse
Although the victim was scheduled to fly to Dubai on November 25, the agent refused. He said he would come to Dubai later. After which, following the advice of the female agent, the victim reached Bahrain on 25 November by Gulf Air flight. From here he called the female agent and asked when she would come. On this the female agent said that she cannot come right now, because her relative is unwell. However, after landing at Bahrain airport, the female agent told the victim how to exit the airport and whom to contact.
The woman suspected something was wrong
After reaching Bahrain, the victim could not understand what was happening to her. Meanwhile, a woman reached the airport with her husband and asked the woman to remove her wedding sign. After this, both of them took the victim from the airport to a club in Dubai. However, when the victim suspected something was wrong in the club, she called the female agent again and told that she had been brought to a club in Dubai and a day later, the victim was brought for a dance instead of a stage show. Where he refused to dance.
Mumbai Police brought the woman out safely
However, the victim woman was also giving information about the conspiracy happening with her to her husband in India. When the victim refused to dance, she was locked in a room and given only one meal. There was no light in the room where he was kept. Contact with her husband became a boon for the victim during this difficult time. After which the victim’s husband informed Anil Shinde, Senior Police Inspector of Mumbra Police Station, on December 1. After which the police took action and took the woman out safely on 3 December. However, the police is also investigating the entire matter.
