Hathras, July 13 (HS). Madhu Bhatia, a female clerk posted as Vashisht Sahayak in the CMO office of the district, was caught red handed taking bribe on Friday evening. This action was taken by the team of Vigilance Establishment Agra and the female clerk was arrested with 45 thousand rupees. In this case, a case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act against the arrested clerk and Medical Officer Dr. Manjeet Singh posted in the CMO office.
In this regard, Eye Testing Officer Nankesh Vimal posted at Community Health Center Mursan had complained to Vigilance Establishment Agra. In this, he had said that he has not been paid the pending salary of September, October, November of the year 2023 and 5 years' salary i.e. a total of Rs 3.5 lakh. Rs 45000 was demanded in lieu of payment. Eye Testing Officer Nankesh told that his wife Vishakha Diwakar has been in coma for a few years due to a road accident and she was posted as a staff nurse in Saadabad CHC, during that time she was also on medical leave. The matter was found to be true in the investigation of the complaint. On Friday evening, Senior Assistant Madhu Vatika has been arrested red handed while taking bribe. The team said that 40 thousand was demanded by the medical officer working in the CMO office and five thousand by the female clerk.
