Fed up with the mistake of the valuation department, the residents of Sarangpur created a ruckus in the property tax Lok Darbar

Fed up with the mistake of the valuation department of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, the residents of Sarangpur had to create a ruckus in the property tax Lok Darbar held on Tuesday. A property tax bill of Rs 9,000 was given by showing a residential building at Ghansiramani Pole as a warehouse.

The Municipal Corporation organised Lok Darbar in all the seven zones of the city to settle property tax objections. Rish Vipul Patel of Ghansiramani Pole of Sarangpur area also reached Lok Darbar for settlement of the application, he created a ruckus by demanding more evidence from the officials present for settlement of his application. My residential house has been shown as a warehouse. The Municipal Corporation office has been harassing me since the bill came in January-2024, the place which has been shown as a warehouse from the department because they have made a serious mistake of using a residential building as a warehouse.
