Washington, July 24 (HS). The accused of attacking former President Donald Trump had searched online for information on how to kill former US President John F. Kennedy before attacking him. This claim was made by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Ray while talking to lawmakers on Wednesday. He said that this information was obtained from the recovered laptop.
The FBI director said that before carrying out the incident he had searched on Google to find out “how far away Oswald, the assassin of Kennedy, was standing.”
Oswald is actually a reference to Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated then-President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, in Dallas.
Ray said during a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee that Thomas Matthew Crooks, who fired a gun at Trump's rally, apparently tried to find this information on Google on July 6. He said that Crooks carried out the shooting of Republican presidential candidate Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania a week later.
