Father of a policeman posted in Central Jail Ludhiana caught fire under suspicious circumstances, his body turned into coal

Ludhiana: Police of Police Station Division No. 7 is currently investigating whether the old man died due to fire under suspicious circumstances in the Central Jail complex or whether the accident occurred due to fire itself. The father of the policeman posted in the jail premises lives in the quarter next to him. The name of the deceased is Jamaluddin. After the posting of his son, he was living in the jail premises.

Late on Thursday night, when the policemen heard screaming inside the jail, they immediately reached the room and saw the old man lying on the ground. His body was on fire. Due to fire the dead body has completely turned into coal.

In this regard, Jail Superintendent Shivraj Singh said that the deceased is the father of the policeman. He was living in a room inside the jail. The circumstances under which the death occurred are being investigated.
