Chitrakoot, 28 October (Hindustan Reporter). On Monday, in a village of Mau police station area, after a quarrel with his wife, an angry father killed his innocent son by killing him with an axe. Later the house was set on fire. Police reached the spot after receiving information and extinguished the fire and arrested the accused.
Rajkumar alias Bhimsen Nishad, living in Dubari village, had a fight with his wife Shiv Kumari on Monday morning over some issue. During the quarrel, he started beating his wife and children. Hearing the noise, Rajkumar's father Nathu Prasad, who was living nearby with his other son, reached there. Somehow he took out the three children, Anuj, Komal and Kunti, who were sleeping in the room. Satyam kept sleeping in the room. Meanwhile, husband Rajkumar, who had lost his temper due to his wife's quarrel, killed his son Satyam by cutting him with an axe. After this, the accused closed the main door of the house from inside and set the house on fire. Neighbors arrived after hearing the noise of Rajkumar's father and wife. The villagers informed the police and started extinguishing the fire. With the help of the villagers, the police somehow extinguished the fire in the house and caught Raj Kumar hiding inside.
Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh said that after quarreling with his wife, the young man killed his innocent son by cutting him with an axe. The murdered father has been arrested. Further action is being taken regarding the matter.
