The actor has revealed years later that his father Brij Sadna had also killed his sister Namrata and their mother Saeeda Khan before committing suicide.
Father killed his wife and sister
Kamal has made shocking revelations about his personal life in an interview. He said that when I was 20 years old, my father shot and killed my mother and sister and also committed suicide.
The actor said, “I reached the hospital with my mother and sister. He was bleeding. I didn't know then that I too had been shot. The doctor said, 'How did you get so much blood on your shirt?'
I said, 'No, it will belong to my mother and sister.' The doctor said, 'No, you too have been shot.' There is no space in this hospital, you will have to go to another hospital. I said, 'No, you keep my mother and sister alive.' I had to check on my father to see what he was doing.”
The actor further said, “I saw my family dying in front of my eyes… which is very painful for me. I was also shot. A bullet hit one side of my neck and exited from the other side. I survived there. There is NO other reason. There is no logical reason for me to survive.”
The family is shocked to see the dead body in the house
Despite Kamal Sadana's repeated refusal, his friends took him to another hospital. The actor told that when he regained consciousness and came home, he was shocked to see the dead bodies of his family there. After shooting the mother and sister, the father also shot himself. Kamal also told that his father was not bad, but alcohol made him so.
Soon after the death of Kamal Sadana's family, he went door-to-door asking for work from producers and finally got the film Bekhudi with Kajol. Earlier he never celebrated his birthday, but last year he threw a small birthday party with his children.
