Mukesh Gautam has received the Best Punjabi Film Award at the 70th National Awards for 'Baaghi Di Dhi'. Yami could not come to Delhi on this special occasion, but she shared a message for her father. The actress wrote, 'This is a very emotional moment. My father Mukesh Gautam got his first National Award as a director for his film Baaghi Di Dhi.
She further wrote, “I cannot express my feelings in words. I am very proud of my father. My father's journey to reach this point has been quite a struggle. I have seen him struggle, but even then his passion for work did not diminish. Papa, the family is proud of you.”
