Fatehabad, 7 October (Hindustan Reporter). The counting of votes for the Haryana Assembly elections will begin on October 8 at 8 am in the centers set up at Chaudhary Maniram Godara Government Women's College, Bhodia Kheda.
Tight security arrangements have been made outside the Mahila College for the counting of votes. Giving this information, District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Mandeep Kaur said on Monday that counting centers have been set up at Bhodia Kheda Government College for the three assembly constituencies of the district, Tohana, Fatehabad and Ratia respectively.
He said that 14 tables will be set up for counting of votes in Tohana assembly constituency and votes will be counted in 17 rounds. Similarly, 14 tables have been set up in Fatehabad and counting will take place in 18 rounds and 14 tables have been set up in Ratia and counting will take place in 17 rounds.
Deputy Commissioner Mandeep Kaur said that in the first phase of counting, postal ballots will be counted and in the second phase, EVM votes will be counted. For counting of votes, duties of counting supervisor, counting assistant and micro-observer will be assigned to each table.
During the counting of votes, VVPAT votes of 5 booths will also be counted. On Monday, the second randomization of the employees engaged in counting of votes was done in the presence of counting observers in the video conference room of NIC located at the Mini Secretariat.
On this occasion, Fatehabad Supervisor Jagdisha KG, Tohana Supervisor Pappu, Ratia Supervisor Arundhati Chakraborty, Deputy Commissioner Mandeep Kaur, Fatehabad SDM Dr. Jaiveer Yadav, Tohana SDM Prateek Hooda, Ratia SDM Jagdish Chandra, CTM Captain Parmesh Singh, DIO Ramesh Sharma, Naib Tehsildar Election Raj Kumar Sihag were present.
