Fatehabad: 1 lakh 13 thousand rupees looted from the employees of Mannapuram in the name of getting the gold loan cleared | News India

Fatehabad, September 5 (HS). A young man deceived the employees of Mannapurram Finance situated on GT Road of the city and swindled Rs 1,13,897 on the pretext of getting gold loan cleared. A complaint in this regard was lodged by the company employee on the cyber crime portal, after which the Fatehabad Cyber ​​Police Station registered a case on Thursday. In the complaint given to the police, Surendra Singh, resident of Uday Vihar Colony, Kanjhawala, Delhi, said that he works as a senior assistant at Mannapurram Finance situated on GT Road in Fatehabad and gets gold loans cleared.

On 18th July, a youth named Happy, son of Bhushan Kumar, resident of Jawahar Chowk, Fatehabad, came to get a gold loan and said that he had a gold loan of Rs. 2.5 lakhs running in Muthoot Finance, Adampur and showed his gold loan in his mobile. Happy said that he was getting high interest there and he should get his loan cleared from Muthoot Finance and keep his gold in Mannapuram and get him a new loan. On this, he transferred Rs. 60,000 from his bank account to Happy's Muthoot gold loan account and his colleague Pushpendra transferred Rs. 53,897 from his account. After this, the youth asked him to bring the slip of the gold deposited from home and the SIM card and went away.

After this, they waited for him for a long time but he did not return. Later he even stopped picking up their phone. Surendra alleged that Happy had cheated him and swindled Rs 1 lakh 13 thousand 897 from him. When he investigated about the youth, he came to know that the real name of the youth is Happy son of Bhushan resident of Mandi Adampur, district Hisar. On this, he lodged a complaint on the cyber crime portal. Fatehabad police has now registered a case and started investigation in this regard.
