Farmers, troubled by the autocracy of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre, are once again preparing to march to Delhi. On the other hand, there are also reports that Delhi is being sealed due to this level.
According to reports, farmers will march from Greater Noida to Delhi on December 2. After no decision was reached in the meeting between the farmers and the government that lasted for about 3 hours, the farmers have decided to march to Delhi.
Farmers are demanding that four times compensation has been given for the highway under construction in Gorakhpur, while Gautam Buddha Nagar is deprived of the benefit of four times compensation. Apart from this, the circle rate has also not increased for 10 years. The benefits of the new law should be implemented in the district.
The main demands of the farmers include 10 percent developed land, recommendations of the high level committee and benefits of the new land acquisition law. All these decisions have to be taken at the government level.
Meanwhile, many important demands of the farmers have come to the fore in the meeting held with the police, District Magistrate, Greater Noida Authority, Noida Authority and Yamuna Authority officials.
However, the officials refused to accept the demands of the farmers and after this there is anger among the farmers. Farmer leaders have made it clear that they will march to Delhi with their demands and if their demands are not heeded, their movement may intensify.
On the other hand, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher has said that farmer leaders will march towards Delhi on December 6 at Shambhu and Khanauri border areas of Punjab and Haryana. Taking aim at the central government, Pandher said that the Center has not yet talked to the farmers on their issues, including their demand for legal guarantee on MSP.
