Kanpur, 25 October (Hindustan Reporter). The two-day farmers fair going on at Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agricultural Technology (CSA) ended on Friday. More than 12 thousand farmers and people benefited in this Kisan Mela. Farmers looked happy after coming face to face with new technologies in the fair.
The two-day farmers fair concluded today at Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur. Chief General Manager of NABARD Uttar Pradesh, Pankaj Kumar was present as the chief guest on the closing occasion. He inspected the stalls of the fair organized in the university and saw the products displayed there.
Chief General Manager NABARD Pankaj Kumar said that after coming to this fair, he felt that our farmers are now working shoulder to shoulder with scientists and doing better work. Farmers are now forming farmer companies among themselves. He said that we have got better evidence and results in the fair, live demonstrations of all kinds of new technologies have also been shown in this fair. Seeing which the farmers are very impressed. Through the fair, we get a chance to connect with the farmers.
University Vice Chancellor Dr. Anand Kumar Singh welcomed all the guests.
The Vice Chancellor said that this type of farmers fair and agro-industry exhibition definitely creates awareness among the farmer brothers. So that their income will increase. Director Extension Dr. RK Yadav said that various stalls installed in the fair grounds were rewarded. On this occasion, all the officers and scientists including Dr. CL Maurya, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Dr. PK Rathi, Dr. PK Upadhyay, Dr. VK Kanojia were present.
Information given about Chand Chhap drone
Farmers were given information about Chand Chhap drone service in the fair. Gopal Sharma said that with this drone, farmers pay Rs 300 per acre to spray chemicals in their fields. The drone sprays chemicals on an acre of land in 10 minutes.
