Farmers blocked the market outside the market and said – the prices of peanuts are getting low.

Meanwhile, angry farmers blocked the road outside the market gate due to low price of peanuts in the agricultural produce market of Pichor. The farmers alleged that the farmers are not getting fair prices from the traders here. Farmers said that their produce is being purchased at low prices while their costs are not covered by this price.

Farmers, angry at getting low prices outside the gate of Pichor agricultural produce market, alleged that the employees of Pichor agricultural produce market are in collusion with the traders. Here, when farmers prepare their crops and come to sell them, they are charged low prices and when complaints are made to the market employees about this, there is no hearing. Farmers said that traders were giving low prices for their produce which did not even cover their costs. Market officials are not taking any action even after the complaint. As soon as the news of the jam was received outside the agricultural produce market of Pichor, after the farmers did not get the right price for peanuts, Tehsildar Shiv Shankar Gurjar and Pichor police station in-charge Jitendra Singh reached the spot and gave advice to the farmers. But the farmers also raised slogans in front of these officers, making allegations against the market employees and traders. Tehsildar and police station in-charge reached the spot and explained to the farmers and after 2 hours the blockade was opened.
