Farmers are food providers and women are Annapurna: Justice Rani Thakur

Prayagraj, March 12 (HS). While addressing the Matrishakti Sammelan at Rajarshi Tandon Seva Kendra Bank Road on the occasion of International Women's Day, Justice Sadhna Rani Thakur of Allahabad High Court said that if farmers are food gods then women are Annapurna. They have to maintain their importance in the society. Because as mother, sister and daughter, they have the responsibility of maintaining an educated society with values.

On this occasion, the Justice also honored five men, including five women who were role models working in the field of women in the society, for their cooperation in the upliftment of the society. He said that women are traveling from family to the moon. They should maintain their image.

Rajkumar Chopra, National President of Loksevak Mandal, who was presiding over the program, said that the male society is incomplete without maternal powers. The program was conducted by Brahm Prakash, Secretary of Loksevak Mandal and the welcome speech was given by Om Prakash Shukla, President of Social Unity Council.

The program started with the lighting of the lamp. The welcome song was sung by NGIT Director Javed Siddiqui with his poetry.
