Farmer's 12 bigha crop destroyed due to extreme heat and spark


Jalaun, 20 April (Hindustan Reporter). A fire suddenly broke out in a field in village Madhaiya of Sirsa Kalar area on Saturday afternoon and within no time the fire took a huge form. Due to which the fire engulfed many nearby fields due to which four bighas of standing wheat crop and 12 bighas of sorghum of five farmers were burnt to ashes. The fire was brought under control after the villagers made great efforts.

Due to unknown reason, the remaining wheat granary of Ballu Awasthi caught fire in village Madhaiya of police station area. After the fire, there was chaos and people started saving the harvested wheat in their respective fields. On the other hand, due to the strong wind, the fire took a huge form and due to the screams of the farmers working in the nearby fields, a crowd of people from the village started running. Seeing the fire increasing, informed the fire brigade. After which the fire was brought under control. A total of four bighas of wheat crop and 12 bighas of wheat grain of farmers Chhotu Awasthi, Sachin Awasthi, Banwari Rajput and Ballu were burnt to ashes.
