It is noteworthy that various states and about 50 countries of the country are becoming participants in the 37th Surajkund International Crafts Fair being organized from 02 February to 18 February 2024. The theme state Gujarat and partner countries Tanzania and North East Ashta Lakshmi Province are hosting the cultural programs as partners.
The cultural evening started with a colorful show of fashion in different costumes by different communities of Ashta Lakshmi Provinces/North East by the artisans of all the North East including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura. When different communities were present, the Chaupal echoed with the laughter of the spectators. At the same time, in the colorful beginning of the fashion show by Ashta Lakshmi provinces, Assam silk sarees, apart from women's wear, also brightened men's fashion in weddings. The valleys of Surajkund echoed with slogans of Jai Shri Ram Ram Ji.
