Faridabad, May 3 (HS). Eight people, including the Indian National Congress candidate, filed nominations on Friday, the fifth day of nominations. District Election Officer Vikram Singh said that no nominations were filed on the first and second days and three candidates filed nomination papers on the third day.
Among the eight candidates who filed their nomination papers on the fifth day on Friday are Harishankar Rajvansh of Aadim Bharatiya Dal, Mahendra Pratap Singh of Indian National Congress, JJP Party's covering candidate Tanya Hooda, Independent Surendra Kumar Saini, Bharatiya Shakti Chetna Party's Shyam Sundar, National Vikas Party's Mahesh Pratap Sharma and Bahujan Mukti Party's Lekhram filed their nomination papers before District Election Officer Vikram Singh. A form set has been submitted today by JJP candidate Nalin Hooda. District Election Officer Vikram Singh said that with the issuance of notification for 10-Faridabad Lok Sabha on last Monday regarding Lok Sabha General Election-2024, the nomination work for the general election had also started.
