Faridabad, October 5 (HS). Neeraj Sharma, Congress candidate from NIT 86 assembly in Faridabad, was given additional security. When he was asked whether there was any possibility of murder or any case or any threat had been received, he said that something similar had come to light and there was a plan of some evil people. He had received similar information from his source. After which he informed the administration about this matter. He said that what happens if the plaintiff wishes bad, only what God allows happens.
Neeraj Sharma said that he had not asked for any security. It was only in view of the attacks on him in the last elections that he had informed the police and the district administration. Keeping this in view, they have been provided security. Neeraj Sharma described both the candidates contesting in front of him and their relatives as having criminal tendencies and said that in view of this the district administration has increased their security. Whereas Neeraj Sharma clearly denied receiving any threat and said that he is not in competition with anyone, his victory is certain, there is competition between the two candidates as to which number he will come.
On this occasion, the Police Commissioner was asked about the purpose for which additional security has been increased for the Congress candidate. On this, the Police Commissioner said that the Congress candidate Neeraj Sharma has given a complaint to the Election Commission, Police and many other departments. Citing threat to his life, he had demanded security. In view of this, additional security has been provided for the safety of Neeraj Sharma. But they do not think that any such action will happen to them, hence they should go to their area and see their booths. The Police Commissioner warned that no mischievous element will be allowed to do mischief.
