Faridabad, May 9 (HS). On Thursday, the police arrested the accused named in theft and rape cases in Delhi and Faridabad along with the stolen tractor. Giving information on Thursday, police spokesperson said that the arrested Yogesh alias Popal (27) is a resident of village Mandhawali Tigaon.
The crime branch team had arrested the accused from Manjhawali village about 12 days ago along with the stolen tractor, in which during interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that two tractors had been stolen. After interrogation, the accused was presented in the court and sent to jail. In which, during the interrogation of the accused on police production, another tractor has been recovered from the forest of village Amipur. The accused, along with his partner, had stolen 2 tractors from Escort Company Sector-14. Earlier, two cases of rape were registered against the accused in Delhi and two cases each of theft were registered in Central and Tigaon police stations. The search for the accomplice of the accused is going on, he will be arrested soon. After interrogation, accused Yogesh was presented in the court and sent to jail.
