Faridabad: 12 candidates filed nomination papers

Faridabad, May 4 (HS). On Saturday, the sixth day of nominations, a total of 12 people, including the Indian National Lok Dal candidate, filed nominations. District Election Officer Vikram Singh said that no nominations were filed on the first and second days and nomination papers were filed by three candidates on the third day.

Similarly, on the sixth day on Saturday, among the twelve candidates who filed nomination papers, Sumit Tewatia from Indian National Lok Dal, Kishan Thakur from Bahujan Samaj Party, Bharat Bhushan Koli from Rashtra Nirman Party, Gyan Chand Bainsla from Samrat Mihir Bhoj Samaj Party, independent Sunil Kumar, independent Rajesh Gautam, independent Girraj, covering candidate Vikas Thakur from Indian National Bahujan Samaj Party filed nomination papers on Saturday.

At the same time, two sets of forms have been submitted by Mahendra Pratap Singh of Indian National Congress and covering candidate Vijay Pratap of Indian National Congress. District Election Officer Vikram Singh said that with the issuance of notification for 10-Faridabad Lok Sabha on last Monday regarding Lok Sabha General Election-2024, the nomination work for the general election had also started.
