Actor and surfing instructor Tamayo Perry, who appeared in the Hollywood film 'Pirates of the Caribbean' starring Johnny Depp, has died. The actor was attacked by a shark while surfing near Goat Island in Hawaii. When a spectator saw Tamayo covered in blood, he immediately informed the emergency services. Officers who arrived at the spot brought Tamayo to the beach on a jet ski, but by then he had died.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services confirmed the news of Tamayo's tragic death. According to reports, Tamayo had several shark bite marks on his body. One of his arms and one of his legs were also severed from the body. Tamayo is said to have taken some time off from lifeguard duty and went surfing.
Apart from being an actor, 49-year-old Tamayo was also a lifeguard and surfing instructor in Hawaii. Tamayo started his career in the Marine Safety Department in July 2016. He worked as a lifeguard at North Beach. Tamayo also worked in films like 'Blue Crush' and 'Charlie's Angels' apart from 'Pirates of the Caribbean' in his acting career.
