False bomb alert on flight caught

The person who gave the false threat of bomb in the flight is from Tamil Nadu. He is a resident of Thiruvaiyaru in Thanjavur district. The person has been identified as 27-year-old V Prasanna. Police has arrested him on charges of giving false threat of bomb. A team of Cyber ​​Crime Police Station of Central Crime Branch has arrested Prasanna. Prasanna claimed in the customer service center chat that a bomb was placed in the Chennai-Mumbai flight.

41 airports received threats

It is worth noting that on June 18, such false threats were given to 41 other airports across the country through email. After which all the airports were checked and security was increased. No explosives were found during the investigation. The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security has proposed a 5-year flying ban on those who made fake bomb threats, as such threats create many problems. A complaint was lodged with the Cyber ​​Crime Branch and Prasanna was later sent to judicial custody.
