Fall in crude oil prices; Fall in gold and silver

Mumbai: Prices of precious metals remained soft in Mumbai jewelery market today. New demand remained slow. The news from the world market was discouraging. Global gold prices range from $2030 to 2032 to 2033, with a low from 2035 to 2036. In the world market, behind gold, silver prices ranged from $22.96 an ounce to $22.48 to $22.54 an ounce.

Lagging behind the world market, the price of silver in Ahmedabad's jewelery market fell by Rs 500 to Rs 70,500 per kg. In Ahmedabad, gold prices for 10 grams were Rs 99.50 at Rs 64,000 and Rs 99.90 at Rs 64,200.

In the world market, Brent crude oil prices ranged from $81.62 per barrel to a low of $81.14. While the price of American crude was from 76.49 to 75.84 to 76.11 dollars.

In the world market, the price of platinum was $890 an ounce while the price of palladium was $967. Global copper prices were 1.37 percent lower today. In Mumbai bullion market today, gold prices without GST stood at Rs 99.50, Rs 61975, Rs 62025 and Rs 99.90 at Rs 62275. Mumbai silver prices rose to Rs 69,449 from Rs 69,750 without GST.
