UP Elections: Assembly by-elections on 9 seats of Uttar Pradesh are over. Besides, the results of the by-election held on Saturday have also come out. BJP has won 6 by-election seats. Apart from this, SP has won the elections on two seats and RLD on one seat. Also, after not winning a single seat in the by-election, the BSP President held a press conference on Sunday. In the press conference, Mayawati accused fake votes in the elections and said that until fake votes are stopped in the country and the Election Commission of the country does not take appropriate action, our party will not contest any by-election. In the country.

Fake votes were cast in the elections

BSP President Mayawati said, ‘There is a general discussion among the people in the by-elections of 9 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh that fake votes have been cast in the voting that took place this time and the results that will come tomorrow. The power of winning elections through ballot paper is being misused in the country and now the same is being done through EVMs, which is a matter of great concern for democracy. This work is now being done openly in the country along with the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, especially in the by-elections. All this was seen recently in the by-elections of Uttar Pradesh.

BSP will not contest any by-election

Mayawati further said, ‘There was a lot of opposition regarding this in the assembly general elections held in Maharashtra. This is an alarm bell for our country and democracy too. In such a situation, our party has now decided that until the country and the Election Commission take some strict steps to stop fake votes, our party will not contest any by-election in the country. Our party will fight the Lok Sabha elections in the country as well as the assembly elections and local body elections in the states with full vigor and strength.
