Mumbai: It is being seen that the prevalence of fake doctors is increasing in Vasai-Virar. Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation has taken action against another fake doctor.
It came to light that an Ayurvedic clinic was being run without any medical certificate in Azad Nagar area of Navghar-East, Vasai, hence a case has been registered at Manikpur Police Station, Vasai and the police is investigating.
Urbanization of Vasai-Virar is increasing rapidly, fake doctors and hospitals are opening in densely populated areas. Fake doctors are also getting illegal construction done.
Recently, Navghar health team of Vasai revealed that a person named Istekhar Sheikh was running an Ayurvedic clinic in the name of Milap Unani without any medical certificate in Azad Nagar area of Navghar-East. Navghar Civil Health Center informed Manikpur police station. A complaint has been lodged
On the basis of this complaint, the police have registered a case against fake doctor Istikhar Shaikh and started investigation.
