Lucknow, 12 August. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, another important step has been taken towards providing employment opportunities to the youth in Uttar Pradesh through a transparent and fair recruitment process. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has declared the final result of Assistant Accountant and Auditor Main Examination conducted under Advertisement No. 03-Exam/2024. Against a total of 1828 advertised posts, 1643 candidates have been finally selected. The Commission has uploaded the list of roll numbers of selected candidates and the cutoff list of various categories on its website.
570 candidates selected on 668 general selection posts
570 candidates have been selected against 668 general selection posts of Assistant Accountant under the Directorate of Internal Accounts and Audit, Uttar Pradesh. These include 387 candidates from unreserved category, 117 from other backward class and 66 from economically weaker section. Regarding 88 posts of Scheduled Caste and 10 of Scheduled Tribe, due to non-availability of candidates of the respective category, these posts have been promoted as per rules.
866 candidates got success in 950 special selection posts
Against 950 special selection posts of Assistant Accountant, 866 candidates have been finally selected. These include 341 candidates from Scheduled Caste, 12 from Scheduled Tribe and 513 from Other Backward Class. Under women horizontal reservation, all 190 women candidates have been selected against the 190 posts advertised.
206 selected on 209 posts of auditor
The Commission has selected 206 candidates against 209 general selection posts of Auditor. These include 96 candidates from unreserved category, 28 from Scheduled Caste, 4 from Scheduled Tribe, 58 from Other Backward Class and 20 from EWS category.
Under women horizontal reservation, all 41 women candidates have been selected against 41 posts.
Selection for the post of Legal Services Authority also
A candidate has also been selected for the post of Assistant Accountant under the control of Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority. This post was of unreserved category.
Selection of 68 candidates is provisional
The Commission has provisionally included 68 candidates in the final selection result. Their final selection will depend on the decision of the Commission and the concerned procuring department after examining the certificates and other necessary documents to be submitted.
The Commission has also clarified that the final selection result will be subject to the writ petitions/special appeals pending in the concerned High Court and orders passed in related cases to be filed in future.
Government’s emphasis on transparent recruitment process
Yogi government is continuously emphasizing on making government recruitments in the state transparent, fair and time bound. Along with taking forward the recruitment process for vacant posts in various departments, results are being released through selection commissions. Selection on these posts of Assistant Accountant and Auditor will give an opportunity to a large number of youth to join government service.

UPSSSC has uploaded the list of roll numbers of selected candidates and category wise cutoff on the website of the commission. Candidates can check their results and selection related details on the official website of the Commission.
