Prayagraj, 16 October (Hindustan Reporter). Yogi government is going to make the Maha Kumbh 2025 going to be held in Sangamnagar as “Clean Kumbh”. To make this grand event clean, extensive preparations are being made by the Yogi government and the fair administration. Under this, deployment of more than 10 thousand sanitation workers is being ensured. At the same time, 1.5 lakh toilets and dustbins with 25 thousand liner bags are being installed.
-Establishment of community and camp toilets
Keeping cleanliness in mind, a total of 1,45,000 toilets and urinals have been arranged in the Kumbh Mela. More than 300 section trains and jet spray cleaning systems will be used. More than 10,000 workers will ensure cleanliness of these toilets. Along with this, the service level will be monitored through QR code, so that any deficiency can be rectified immediately.
-Waste management: deployment of tipper-hopper and compactor trucks.
120 tipper and 40 compactor trucks will be used for better waste management. Transfer stations have been provided in each sector and there will be GPS based monitoring of vehicles, so that cleaning can be done timely and effectively. Dustbins containing 25,000 liner bags will be installed and these bags will be changed three times daily.
-Appointment and facilities of cleaning staff
10,200 sanitation workers (850 gangs) will be deployed in the Kumbh Mela. Special sanitary colonies have been constructed for their living. Also, the daily wages of these employees will be paid directly into their bank accounts, so that there is no financial disturbance and the workers can get the fair value of their labor on time.
