Ayodhya, 4 November (Hindus). Yogi government's efforts to increase health services in the city of Lord Shri Ram is progressing at a fast pace. The district hospital administration has taken the initiative in this regard. Along with starting a private ward, preparations are underway to build an NCD clinic and a geriatric ward. As soon as these services are started in the hospital, the district hospital will become a hospital providing better health services. Even before the construction of the grand temple in Ayodhya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had first given instructions to increase the facilities in the hospitals here and open a multispecialty hospital, although the work of finding land for the hospital is going on a war footing. Probably the administration may soon get success in this matter. The district hospital administration has started brainstorming to increase the facilities. First of all, preparations are going on to start a private ward in the hospital.
Security money of Rs 2,000 will have to be deposited for private ward.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Vipin Verma says that there is a six-bed private ward in the building behind the new building in the hospital. Every room has attached toilet and bathroom. Apart from this, there will be arrangements for the attendant to stay and sit. To get a private ward, two thousand rupees will have to be deposited as security money. The registration fee will be Rs 34. Room rent will be Rs 100 per day. The charge for IV drip will be Rs 34 per day. For admission for a major operation, a fee of Rs 1065 will be charged. Soon its operation will be started by allocating the duties of the staff.
Non-infectious patients will be seen in NCD clinic
Preparations are underway to open an NCD clinic for non-infectious diseases in the district hospital. With the opening of this clinic, patients of infectious diseases and non-infectious diseases will not have to undergo treatment. In fact, what happens now is that non-infectious patients like heart patients, diabetes and cancer patients also come to the doctor for treatment along with infectious patients. After the opening of this clinic, a doctor will be deployed, where there will be facility to see only non-infectious patients.
Elderly people will be treated in geriatric ward
Arrangements for treatment of the elderly are made in the geriatric ward. Preparations are underway to build such a ward in the hospital. Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Uttam Kumar said that currently the idea is to use only the reserve ward with eight beds as a geriatric ward. Instructions have also been received from the government for NCD clinics. Arrangements for its operation will be made soon.
