Moderate violence: Four people have died in the violence that broke out over the Jama Masjid survey in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, 19 policemen including four officers have also been injured. To control the situation, the police released tear gas shells and resorted to lathicharge. Apart from this, police forces have been deployed at every nook and corner and internet services have also been banned. Now an eyewitness of the Sambhal violence has described the scene during the violence.

The eyewitness said, ‘When we came out of the house, there was a commotion. We had closed the house. Announcement was being made in the mosque that do not panic, remain calm, nothing like this happened. But the anger of the public was such that they did not believe a single thing.

Violence was done by outsiders

He said, ‘The people who were committing violence were not from here, this violence was done by outsiders. Because we do not get freedom through work alone. Here the people of the house have not come out of the house. We had closed the gate because stone pelting was going on and stones were coming inside the house.

Case registered against 800 miscreants in Sambhal violence

Police have registered seven FIRs in Sambhal violence, in which cases have been registered against 800 miscreants. Apart from this, a case has also been registered against Sambhal SP MP Ziaur Rahman Burke and local MLA’s son Sohail Iqbal. Sambhal SP said that CCTV is being examined to identify the miscreants. Apart from this, drones are also taking small photographs of the miscreants. At present, Section 163 (earlier 144) is in force in Sambhal and the internet will remain closed tomorrow i.e. Tuesday also. Apart from this, police forces are deployed at many police stations in the violence affected areas.
