Political parties should also provide positive cooperation in this. Bhagat said that the movement of vehicles will be checked more seriously in the remaining time. In view of this, check posts and checkpoints will be made more prepared. Violation of the code of conduct will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He told that there was a seizure of Rs 55 lakh in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Till now, seizure actions worth Rs 36 crore have been taken by the administration. This process will be made more stringent in the coming days. He said that so far 128 complaints have been received on the C-Vigil app. Which have been resolved. More than 5 thousand soldiers will be deployed for fear-free elections. He said that many programs are being organized under SVEEP to increase the voting percentage in the district. Political parties should also make efforts for this. He said that maximum efforts will be made for maximum voting in the happy hours from 7 to 10 am.
District Election Officer Namrata Vrishni said that action will be taken more seriously and promptly on every complaint related to violation of the code of conduct. Arrangements for water, electricity, seating, furniture, shed, wheelchair entry and exit in each polling center and webcasting at the proposed centers have been completed.
