External Affairs Minister Jaishankar will visit Australia and Singapore for bilateral talks from tomorrow to November 8.

New Delhi, 2 November (HS). External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will visit Australia and Singapore from November 3 to 8 for important meetings and bilateral talks.

The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement on Saturday saying that during the visit, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar will visit Brisbane and inaugurate India's fourth Consulate in Australia. The External Affairs Minister will also co-chair the 15th Foreign Ministers' Framework Dialogue (FMFD) with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong in Canberra. He will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural session of the second Raisina Down Under to be held at the Australian Parliament House. The External Affairs Minister is also scheduled to interact with Australian leadership, parliamentarians, members of the Indian diaspora, business community, media and think tanks.

On the second leg of the visit, the External Affairs Minister will visit Singapore on 8 November for an official visit, during which he will address the 8th Roundtable of the ASEAN-India Think Tank Network. He will also meet the leadership of Singapore to review the close partnership between the two countries and explore opportunities to further enhance bilateral relations.
