Extension in operating period and frequency of four festival special trains | News India

Moradabad, 28 September (HS). Aditya Gupta, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager in Moradabad Railway Division of Northern Railway, said on Saturday that for the convenience of passengers, the frequency and operating period of four previously announced festival special trains have been extended.

Senior DCM further said that by extending the current operation of train number 05194 (Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan-Chhapra Special) till 30th September, a total of 08 trips will be operated every Monday from 7th October to 25th November. The train will stop at Roorkee, Laksar, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur stations of the division. The operation of train number 04044 (Anand Vihar Terminal – Gorakhpur Special) has been extended to a total of 4 trips from 26th October and 2nd, 9th and 16th November on 26th and 29th October and 2, 05, 09, 12, 16, 19, 23. A total of 10 trips will be conducted till 26th November. By expanding the operating day of the train to Saturday, it will now operate on Saturday and Tuesday. The train will stop at Moradabad, Chandausi, Bareilly Cantt stations of the division.

Senior DCM further said that the operation of train number 04043 (Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Special) has been extended to a total of 04 trips till 27 October and 3, 10, 17 November and now on 27, 30 October and 3, 6,10,13,17. A total of 10 rounds will be conducted on 20th, 24th and 27th November. By expanding the operating days of the train to Sunday, it will now operate on Sunday and Wednesday. The train will stop at Bareilly Cantt, Chandausi, Moradabad stations of the division. Extending the current operation of train number 05193 (Chhapra-Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Special till 28th September), a total of 8 additional trips will be operated every Saturday from 5th October to 23rd November. This train will operate at Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, There will be stoppage at Laksar and Roorkee stations.
