Nashik Artillery Centre: Two firefighters died in an explosion during a routine training session at the Nashik Artillery Centre. The incident occurred during live fire artillery practice. The blast occurred when the soldiers were practicing firing from artillery, in which both the firemen were seriously injured. Every possible effort was made to save him but the injuries were so serious that he died. The incident sent shockwaves through the artillery center and officials have launched an investigation to find out the actual cause of the blast.

Agniveers are trained at the Gunnery Center in Nashik. Yesterday afternoon Agniveer was practicing at the Artillery Centre. During this training, there was a sudden explosion while firing. This caused panic in the artillery center.
NCP leader Supriya Sule expressed grief over the incident on social media platforms and said, “Two firefighters died in an explosion during training at an artillery center in Nashik. This incident is very sad. These two soldiers should be given the status of martyrs.
