Conquered Mount Everest for the 30th time

The 54-year-old Sherpa climbed the 8,848.86-metre peak twice in a week last spring. He climbed Everest for the 28th time. Kami Rita is the mountaineer who has made the record of climbing the world's highest peak the most number of times in the 71-year-long history of Sagarmatha. He first climbed Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, in 1994. Since then, Everest Man has enjoyed success every year.
