Guwahati, 2 November (HS). The double header to be played in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 on Sunday will start at 5:00 PM IST when NorthEast United FC and Odisha FC take on the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium here.
NorthEast and Odisha are placed fifth and seventh respectively in the table with eight points each from six matches. The Highlanders thrashed Jamshedpur FC 5-0, while the Juggernauts held Mumbai City FC to a 1-1 draw at their home ground.
NorthEast's 5–0 win over Jamshedpur FC was their biggest ever win in the league. Now, they have a chance to register consecutive wins in the same league season.
NorthEast United have scored four goals in the first 15 minutes of their matches this year, which is the highest number of goals among all the teams in the league. At the same time, the Juggernauts are one of the three teams who have not yet conceded a goal in this time period.
Odisha FC have drawn twice in their last seven away matches while losing five. During this period he has kept only one clean sheet, and scored no goals in three of the three matches.
Sergio Lobera has not won any of his four matches at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati. Their teams have lost two matches and drawn two and have conceded at least two goals in each match.
