Kishanganj, 05 September (HS). The team of the Excise Department conducted an investigation campaign in different places in the case of drinking and selling liquor. In which vehicles were searched at all the check posts.
During this, 5 youths were caught on the charges of consuming and selling liquor. In which 2 people were caught on the charge of drinking liquor and 3 people were caught with liquor. Sub-Inspector Excise Dr. Sunil Kumar and Sub-Inspector Excise Amrit Kumar were involved in the action. Under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Excise Amrit Kumar, a youth was arrested with 26.5 liters of foreign liquor on the road going to Dharampur near the Bengal border. The arrested youth Ujjwal Kumar is a resident of Tegharia. The liquor was being brought from Bengal on a scooter.
On the instructions of Excise Superintendent Devendra Prasad, investigation campaign was conducted in different places including Rampur, Faringola, Devi Chowk, Galgalia check post. All were presented in the court on Thursday.
