Ghaziabad, October 2 (HS). The Excise Department and Loni Border Police on Wednesday raided the house of a liquor smuggler woman in Rahul Garden. In which a woman named Babita was arrested. English and country liquor worth more than Rs 1 lakh has been recovered from his possession.
During the raid, 14 boxes of orange brand country liquor, permitted for sale in the state of Haryana, two boxes of Aristocrat Prime foreign liquor, permitted for sale in the state of Delhi, and 10 pav of Night Blue country liquor, permitted for sale in the state of Haryana, were kept hidden in the house during the raid. Permissible for sale and 67 pav of Dildar brand country liquor, permitted for sale in the state of Uttar Pradesh, was recovered. A total of 161 liters (about 17 boxes) of illicit liquor was seized.
