Everyone likes the taste of Paneer Makhmali, so make it like this!

Many people like dishes made from cheese. Paneer dishes are enjoyed on various occasions, and one popular dish is “Paneer Makhmali”. It is not only loved for its taste but is also a great option for both lunch and dinner. Use of almond paste with soft cheese makes this dish even more delicious. This is a simple and easy to prepare dish, which is perfect to serve with roti, naan or paratha.

Material:

Paneer – 250 grams

Almonds – 15-20

Tomato – 4-5

Onion – 2

Ginger-garlic paste – 2 teaspoons

Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon

Turmeric – 1/4 tsp

Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon

Sugar – 1 teaspoon

Oil – 2-3 tbsp

Instruction:

-First of all, soak the almonds in water overnight. Use soft cheese pieces for the dish and cut them into cubes.

-Cut the onion finely and heat oil in a pan on medium flame.

When the oil is hot, add finely chopped onion and ginger-garlic paste and fry until the onion turns light brown.

Meanwhile, put tomatoes and soaked almonds in a mixer jar and blend them. Prepare a smooth paste.

-When the onion becomes golden, add tomato-almond paste to the pan and mix well.

– Add coriander powder, turmeric, red chilli powder and sugar. – Keep stirring the mixture until all the spices are mixed well and cook it.

Meanwhile, cut the paneer into pieces and add to the spice mixture. Mix well using a spatula.

– Add one cup water, salt and sugar as per taste. While stirring, let it cook on low flame until the gravy leaves oil.

When the gravy starts releasing oil, cook for 1-2 more minutes and then turn off the flame. Your Paneer Velvet is ready.
