Mythological story of Maa Chandraghanta
According to mythology, when Mahishasura took over the heaven and started torturing the gods, Goddess Chandraghanta appeared from the glory of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. When the goddess entered the battlefield, the army of demons started fainting due to the terrible sound of her gong. Mother freed the gods from fear by killing Mahishasura with her bravery.
