The teachings of Lord Buddha emphasize on adopting the path of peace, his teachings are more relevant for today's stressful life and world peace. He said that where there are disciples of Tathagata, there will be peace and Vipassana. He said, every family should have a follower of Lord Buddha. If we want peace, development and employment then there is no better path than taking refuge in Buddha.

He said that Pali literature is very useful for increasing peace and harmony in the world. Therefore, this conference has been organized on the theme of contribution of Pali literature in enhancing world peace and harmony. More than 800 Buddhist monks and scholars from India and abroad are participating in it. Lord Buddha gave his sermon in Pali language. Considering the antiquity and importance of this language, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has increased its respect by giving the status of classical language to Pali language.

Deputy Chief Minister of the state Brajesh Pathak, present on this occasion, said that Pali language was made the medium for the message of humanity, compassion and love given by Lord Buddha. Times changed, days changed but Lord Buddha's message of humanity is giving the message of peace to the whole world. Pali language is our cultural heritage. Pali literature is being promoted in India while providing uniformity at the global level. The Uttar Pradesh government has organized this Pali literary conference to popularize and popularize the Pali language.

Shri Pathak also said that peace can be established in the world by following the path of Lord Buddha. Lord Buddha always emphasized on adopting the path of peace in his messages. There is a need to follow the path shown by them. Important places associated with Lord Buddha are being promoted all over the world so that followers from all over the world come to Uttar Pradesh. He said that commendable work is being done by the Tourism and Culture Department in this direction.

Dr. Thich Nhat Tu, Vice-Chancellor of Buddhist University, Vietnam, said that Pali is one of the most important classical languages ​​of India, especially known as the religious language of Theravada Buddhism. It emerged as a medium to preserve and disseminate Buddhist teachings in Asia. The Government of India has given it the status of a classical language. I thank you for this.

Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Mukesh Kumar Meshram said that the Central Government has given the status of classical language to Pali. On the same occasion, Uttar Pradesh is the first state which is organizing the Pali Language Literature Conference. The brainstorming done by the scholars will be taken to the universities.

The first session of the program was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of Chitrakoot Rambhadracharya University, Prof. Shishir Pandey and the second session was presided over by the former Vice Chancellor of Nava Nalanda Mahavihar, Prof. Ramanakshatra Prasad. Bhadant Dr. Rahul Bodhi was present as the special guest. About 20 people presented research papers in both the sessions. Prominent in the conference were Hargobind Buddhist, Executive Chairman, International Buddhist Research Institute Lucknow, Phra Bhadant Dr. Charan Suthi Thailand, Bhadant Rahul Bodhi, Govind Narayan Shukla, MLC, Ravindra Kumar Special Secretary Culture Department, Dr. Rakesh Singh Director Buddhist Research Institute.
