Every child should get equal opportunities for education under RTE – Krishna Kunal

Jaipur, 13 May (HS). Under the Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009, 25 percent seats in pre-primary (PP-3) and class-1 in non-government schools of the state were given to the disadvantaged groups and weaker sections of the society in the education complex on Monday. Online lottery was conducted to determine the order of priority.

On this occasion, Government Secretary, School Education Krishna Kunal said that under the Right to Education Act, every child has been given the right to free education.

He said that parents can see the priority list released by the lottery by clicking on “Candidate Priority Order” on the home page of the school-wise private school web portal www.rajpsp.nic.in. Also, parents can login with their application ID number and mobile number and see the preference number of their child in all the applied schools simultaneously.

Applications from three lakh eight thousand seven hundred eighty two boys and girls have been received for admission in thirty one thousand eight to fifty seven private schools of the state. Admissions will be given in schools in the first phase from June 7 to July 25. Admission will be given on the basis of preference in the second phase from 26th July to 16th August and in the third phase from 17th August to 31st August.
